Dr. MK Ranjitsinh

Dr. Ranjitsinh serves as an adviser to Ear to the Wild Foundation.  As the prime architect of the Wildlife (Protection) Act of India 1972, he is one of the father’s of conservation in India, responsible for the birth of 8 national parks and 14 sanctuaries.

Among his many roles Dr. Ranjitsinh has served as Chairman of the Wildlife Trust of India.  No body understands the threats facing India’s wildlife better than him and his expertise and experience are invaluable.

Dr Ranjitsingh is author of several books on Indian wildlife and conservation including - "The Indian Blackbuck" (1989), "Indian Wildlife" (1995), "Beyond the Tiger: Portraits of Asian Wildlife" (1997).  He was awarded the Indian lifetime achievement award in 2014 for his work in conservation.
